From your brand name to your report — in three steps.
It's the reverse of the enterprise tools: no integration, no onboarding call, no data to hand over. You see the value before you commit to anything.
Tell us your brand
Just the name and your brand email. No seller panel, no ad account, no upload — there's nothing to connect, so there's no data of yours for us to hold.
We read the public shelves
We read Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart the way a shopper does — store by store, in each pincode, for you and your rivals — and combine many sources into one place.
You get your report + a login
Your q-commerce reality, resolved to the dark store, with the fixes ranked. Verify with your brand email and you're into a private login, refreshed daily.
You connect nothing — and that's the point.
Everything is built from the public shelf: exactly what a shopper sees when they open the app in their pincode. That's why we can show it cold, and why there's nothing of yours to secure.
Nothing to integrate
No pixel, no SDK, no seller-panel connection. A brand name is enough to start.
Value before commitment
The first report is free. You find out whether it's useful before you talk pricing.
Not a national average
Quick commerce sells store by store. We resolve rank, ads and stock to each one — the average hides where you're actually bleeding.
What your dashboard has — and what we add.
We don't replace your seller panel or argue with it. We add the layers it structurally can't contain.
Your own numbers
Your sales, your listings, your ad spend — and increasingly, some of your own store-level performance. We don't repackage that as a revelation.
Your competitors
Rivals' rank, ads, price and stock — store by store. No seller panel shows you your competitors. This is the layer that's genuinely yours to gain.
The full variance
Your panel gives one number; on the public shelf it splits across your dark stores. We show the spread — and where each rival sits in it.
See your brand's reality.
Type your brand, verify with your brand email, and we'll send the report.
What one read actually produces
The abstract version is “we read the public shelf.” Here is the concrete version, from the reads behind The Dark Store Index — 486 dark stores across Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, read in Bengaluru and Delhi NCR.
- Who owns the paid shelf in your category. On Instamart, one brand held 240 sponsored placements for a single search term — 66% of everything paid in that category. That brand's rivals were bidding into a category someone else already owned.
- Which stores nobody is bidding on. 10 of 81 Blinkit store-searches returned no advertiser at all — and that repeated exactly in a second city. Instamart was zero of 81 in both. Zepto swung from 0 in Bengaluru to 18 of 81 in Delhi, so uncontested shelf is real but city-specific.
- Where you are simply absent. Presence is per store, not per city. A brand in 7 of 9 stores is invisible to every shopper served by the other two, and no national number will surface it.
None of that is available in a seller dashboard, because competitor rank and rival ad placements are shopper-facing data. No seller portal on any platform contains them.
What we will not tell you
Worth knowing before you rely on this.
- Not rupee ad spend. Bids are not public. We count sponsored placements owned, which is a fact. Anyone quoting quick-commerce ad spend is estimating.
- Not a catalogue rank. Platforms cap how many results they return, so the lowest position we see is a limit of the read, not proof of where you sit in the full catalogue. We do not publish rank-spread claims for that reason.
- Not your sales. We never connect to your accounts, so we never see orders, spend or margin. That is the design, and it is also the limit.
- Not a trend, from one read. A single read is a photograph. Change detection needs at least two.
